Bulgaria and Greece share a common responsibility for strengthening stability in Southeastern Europe and for the development of good-neighborly relations in our region. This was the common stance shared by the Presidents of Bulgaria and Greece, Rumen Radev and Prokopis Pavlopoulos, who held a meeting today in Riga within the XIV meeting of the Heads of State of the Arraiolos group.

President Rumen Radev awarded the Croatian Ambassador to Bulgaria Lijerka Alajbeg the Madara Horseman order first degree. The diplomat was awarded the highest state honor for her contribution to promoting the political, economic and cultural cooperation between Bulgaria and Croatia.
“What lies at the basis of the friendly relations between Bulgaria and Croatia are the deep historical and cultural ties between our peoples and with her active work Ambassador Alajbeg gave a new impetus to the bilateral relations on all levels,” President Rumen Radev said at the ceremony held at the coat-of-arms hall at 2 Dondukov street.

“The active political dialogue between Bulgaria and Serbia brings common success in trade and tourism and cultivates close relations between our citizens. Our frequent meetings are indicative of the new spirit in the relations between Bulgaria and Serbia and of the fact that we unswervingly pursue our common goals – to ensure a historical reconciliation and our joint future in the European Union.” This is what President Rumen Radev said, who met the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic at 2 Dondukov street today.
