I am shocked and appalled by what happened at the airport in Sarafovo. I condemn all forms and terrorism and violence, which are incomprehensible and completely unacceptable to us. Bulgaria is a country where for centuries many ethnicities and religions have co-existed peacefully and in which tolerance is a fundamental value of society. This makes our shock at what happened even greater and our determination to prevent similar incidents in the future even firmer.

Bulgaria will make every effort for those guilty of the tragedy to be fairly punished, President Plevneliev underlined.
