Bulgaria wishes to host the 2013 summit of the newly established Secretariat of China on Co-operation with Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). This was announced today at a meeting between President Rosen Plevneliev and Chen Zhili, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Peoples Congress of China.

Use Bulgaria as Vietnam’s bridge to Europe, President Rosen Plevneliev said during a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Nguyen Thien Nhan. The Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister is on a working visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Simeon Dyankov.
