Bulgaria will continue to be Montenegro’s advocate for its prompt accession to the Euro-Atlantic family, President Rosen Plevneliev told his counterpart from Montenegro, Filip Vujanovic, at whose invitation he is on a two-day official visit to Montenegro. The Bulgarian President was welcomed with an official ceremony in Cetinje.

Violence should be promptly ended and a political solution to the situation in Ukraine should be found. This is what President Rosen Plevneliev insisted on in the talks he held with Ukrainian ambassador Mikola Baltajy at 2 Dondukov street. The Head of State yet again strongly condemned the usage of violence which led to the death of tens of innocent people.

Rosen Plevneliev, Head of State, strongly condemns the outbreaks of violence in Ukraine and calls on all political leaders in the country to assume responsibility and take urgent actions to find a peaceful and democratic solution to the crisis.

The attempts to stir up hatred and intolerance to the different person, to incite the Bulgarians against each other, to play with ethnic peace and use the language of hatred are unacceptable and should be strongly condemned.
