REGISTRY AND ARCHIVES

The Directorate for Registry and Archives organises the Registry activities in respect of incoming, internal and outgoing correspondence of the Presidential Administration. It ensures that documents received by post, e-mail, fax, over the counter and via the Electronic Messaging System (EMS) are received, registered and distributed in accordance with functional responsibilities, and that outgoing correspondence is sent to external addressees. Processes and stores documents in the current clerical archive and in the administration's institutional archive. Arranging for the documents to be assessed for their value and for them to be forwarded to the Central State Archives.
