At the Invitation of Head of State Rumen Radev, H.M. King Abdullah II of Jordan Will Pay Official visit to Bulgaria

At the invitation of the Head of State Rumen Radev, His Majesty King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will pay an official visit to Bulgaria.

The prospects for further development of bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Jordan in the economy, defence, science and education, agriculture and tourism, as well as topics from the international agenda in the field of security, are expected to be the focus of the meeting of the two heads of state in Sofia.

On April 3, at St Alexander Nevsky Square, President Rumen Radev will welcome H.M. King Abdullah II with an official ceremony. The King of Jordan will pay tribute at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.

In the building of the presidential institution, the Bulgarian head of state and the King of Jordan will hold a one-to-one meeting, after which plenary talks will take place between the official delegations of the two countries.

During the second day of the visit, President Rumen Radev and H.M. Abdullah II will host a high-level meeting in Sofia within the framework of the Aqaba Process initiative. At the invitation of President Rumen Radev and His Majesty, the King of Jordan, in early April this year, heads of state, representatives of governments, intergovernmental and non-governmental organisations will discuss the security environment with a focus on the Balkans.
